Hello and welcome back to my blog. In today's blog post I am going to be talking about our last rippa rugby session! Rippa rugby is one of the sports that I have always disliked. The reason why I always never liked rippa rugby was probably because people would never share the ball and because I never really got how to play. But today that all changed... Something that I learnt while participating in rippa rugby was when we had to try and catch the ball. Another thing that I learnt was that if someone has the ball they can't bump people off. Something that I enjoyed while playing was probably ripping off peoples tags.

Secret Agent Mission

Hello and welcome back to my blog. In today's blog post I am going to be sharing a google slide show on what we did on Monday! The thing we did on Monday was to try and find out who the purple monkey was, so we basically turned into secret agents! We worked through the codes and puzzles that would lead to a dice, and that dice would lead to the location of where purple monkey was! It was really fun, especially since we got to work with room 8!

Playing Basketball! (Pt 2)

Hello and welcome back to my blog. In today's blog post I am going to be talking about Basketball!! So this is a part 2 of when we did basketball the first time.

In this basketball lesson we learnt a lot of techniques and skills on how to become a pro. The technique we got told was a bunch of passes like: Overhead, Bounce, Chest and Over Shoulder!

 My favourite pass was Overhead because it was fun catching the ball! The thing that I enjoyed was at the end when we got to play ball tag which is basically a game of tag but you have to get the ball and try tag the enemies with it.

Weapon Drawing!

Hello and welcome back to my blog. In today's blog post I am going to be talking about a reading task that we had to do. For our reading task we had to draw a weapon from this book we had to read. The book was called Tarakura of the Rangitaiki  Plains

Here is my summary:)

One day Iratumoana the chief of Ngati Awa and known as the warrior, took a brave step and was going on a journey to battle and win against the taniwha that carries death, known as Tarakura.

The purpose of the story was to inform and entertain others.

I thought the story was really cool and interesting because I like to read creepy/horror stories and because it was about a taniwha.

I thought the begging in the story was creepy and frightening

At the end of the story the chief Iratumoana and the Ngati Awa iwi lived happily ever after without the taniwha ever showing up again.

I think he was a hero because he saved him and the Ngati Awa people from the taniwha that kept killing and stealing other people’s lives.

Hello and welcome back to my blog. In today's blog post I am going to be talking about School Genesis. School Genesis is a company that sells light bulbs for cheap and good prices. They brought in 2 of these light bulbs to compare which one was better and how much energy is used in them, they also brought in the Human generator which is just a machine that you have to turn around to see how much strength you would have to use on it.

Their names are Jenny and Jess. One of the light bulbs are 1 dollar and the other one is 9 dollars. The 9 dollar light bulb is much quicker and easier to use and the 1 dollar one is the exact opposite. It takes so much energy that you would get tired. I recommend to get the 9 dollar one because it will light up your room fast. If you get the 1 dollar one it will take a long time to fully light up your room because that is just how slow it is.

Hello and welcome back to my blog. In today's blog post I am going to be talking about Eid! Eid is something that Muslim people celebrate after they have finished fasting. Tomorrow all the Muslim people in our class is not gonna be at school and that is because they are going to be celebrating Eid this year!

We had to create a DLO (digital learning object) about Ramadan. I choose to create a google slide showcasing what I learnt. Here it is:

What I need to work on is probably adding more information and making sure it is correct because I honestly got this information from books I was reading and from some friends that are Muslim.

Crazy Science experiment!!!

Hello and welcome back to my blog. In today's blog post I am going to be sharing a very exciting and cool experiment that we have seen on Tuesday.

Here it is!

My favourite part of the Crazy Science Experiment is scientist got some grains and sprinkled it in the air and got this flaming gun and blasted it on the grains and in turned to fire! When he blasted it the fire looked like it was being ignited and was amazing when it straight away disappeared.

Another of my favourites is when he made elephant toothpaste. Elephant toothpaste was super cool because when he made it, it immediately vibrated and started bubbling up to a thick and fluffy liquid substance. The materials that he made the elephant toothpaste was Food Coloring (optional), Dishwashing liquid, H202 which is a dangerous liquid because it includes extra oxygen, you could actually die from it.

My third favourite experiment that he did was probably when he made gigantic bubbles. Why i like this one is because he got some bubble mixture, he got this chop stick string and put it together then dipped it in the bubble mixture then hung it up high and moved back so that it could make the bubbles.

My least favourite was probably when he got some air blowers and started blowing up things. For example he got this Blower air dryer and blew up up balls, what i mean by balls is that he got like ping pong balls and blew them up with blow air dryer, he even got a giant earth plastic ball and blew it up till it touched the ceiling.
